What is a different way to say " working for the good of the community"?
I have to have an objective for my resume. I want to keep it very broad and general. I have: "I am looking for a position in which I can utilize and sharpen my skills and knowledge." I want to add something like: "while contribtuting to the good of the community." or something along those lines. Does that sound awful? I work part-time at a library, and am looking for a side job, preferably clerical work, or retail. I have a general communications degree. Still have no clue what I want to do. I'm fine with just working part-time things, esp. since that's all there seems to be around here anyway. I go on to add those details in my objective, but am looking for an opening sentence. Any advice?
