If God really wanted to save more people, why doesn't he change tactics?

God gave us free will to make our own choices in life so others choose to be christians, atheists and agnostics. This is why we humans aren't perfect otherwise we would all be following God and refraining from sin. God won't force one to follow him so the current methods he is using to win people is indeed a perfect doing because it all centres around his idea of giving us freewill.
