I want to add my ex back on facebook but i don't know if it's okay to do that?

my ex broke up with me a few months ago because he wanted me to change (of course i said no im not changing for you, you can go find someone else etc.) well he didn't like my appearance (like i care what he thinks) but then a few weeks later he came back saying he still cares about me but i told him i didn't believe him because he'd always say something somtimes and then take it back kind of. I was being stubborn/ "mean" (i was just speaking my mind). The same night, he told me all the most stupid crap ever ("come to my homeroom baby we can have some fun lol" and "can i have your number want me to call you baby?") << that's when i deleted him. He said he's done with my **** after me being stubborn that whole time and he left. Since then (well before christmas break) i would see him sometimes looking at me or going another way to his cl to see me (i think). Now i'm kind of regretting deleting him on facebook.
