Should I tell him I like him?

I really like a guy I became friends with not that long ago. At Senior Banquet I asked him to slow dance. I felt bad because I didn't talk to him much while we were slow dancing. I told him that I get nervous around him and he said I was fine. Should I tell him I like him or is it not worth telling him if I think he already knows?
