Could other animals be domesticated?

There is a possibility. In Russia, there was an experiment: they bred the social, "tame" foxes to the other "nice" foxes. Over time, the foxes developed smaller skulls, floppy ears, white markings, and became more friendly, social, and more like dogs, basically. There are, therefore, other species that can be domesticated that haven't.
